Tisbury’s Finance and Advisory Committee reviewed Dukes County warrant articles submitted for the coming Annual Town Meeting. The county listed a $16,548 request to repair two flat roofs and paint trim at the Dukes County Courthouse and a $10,343 item to plan and construct an ADA-compliant ramp for the county Health Care Access building. The county also listed a $50,000 islandwide placeholder for supplemental income that county staff said would likely be reduced when the final county budget is completed; the county budget is not final until April 1.
FinCom members thanked county staff and noted the need to see finalized county budget numbers before making town recommendations. The county documents were included in the meeting appendix.
