Director Mark Ghiloni presented a draft outline for a Sale of Goods policy governing sales at Town facilities and events. The draft would permit sales at Town-sponsored events and nonprofit fundraisers provided organizations submit proof of nonprofit status and activities align with community or recreational purposes.
Under the draft, vendors or organizations would need to submit a Vendor/Sales Request Application, obtain written approval from the Parks and Recreation Commission and/or Director, and provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Town as additionally insured when required. Mark said he will follow up with Town staff and the Board of Health to finalize requirements.
