Seminole ISD board approves food service contract, adopts TASB policy updates and hears CTE progress

President Michael Wood called the Seminole Independent School District Board of Trustees to order at 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2025, at the Administration Building and noted that "the meeting was being recorded in accordance with law and Board policy." The board confirmed a quorum of trustees and conducted routine business, including recognition of a Primary Teacher of the Month and receipt of enrollment and finance reports.
On formal actions, the board approved a West Texas Food Service Cooperative agreement for 2026–2027 with ESC Region 17 and adopted the TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 126 for multiple LOCAL policies; both motions passed unanimously, 6-0. The board received progress updates on CTE renovations and a Success Center report and then convened an executive session beginning at 7:40 p.m. under Texas Government Code §551.074 for personnel matters, returning to open session at 9:11 p.m. No action was reported after reconvening and the meeting adjourned at 9:11 p.m.
