Seminole ISD approves district and campus improvement plans after DEIC vetting
Summary
The board approved the District Improvement Plan, district goals and needs assessment and all Campus Improvement Plans, each motion passing 6-0. Trustees said the plans had been reviewed and previously approved by the DEIC.
Trustees voted to approve the District Improvement Plan — including district goals and the District Needs Assessment — and subsequently approved all Campus Improvement Plans at the Oct. 13 meeting. Both motions were made and seconded by trustees (District Improvement Plan: motion by Lance Wright, second by Herman Peters; Campus Improvement Plans: motion by Lance Wright, second by Herman Peters) and each motion carried 6-0.
Minutes indicate the plans had been reviewed and approved previously by the DEIC; the approvals at this meeting were formal ratifications by the board and are part of the district's regular planning and accountability process.
