Hudson Huff of Zonda Home presented the district's most recent demographic study to inform budget and facility planning; the study will be used in ongoing facility decisions. Elizabeth Banks, Chief Financial Officer, briefed trustees on potential smaller projects that could be funded with bond interest revenue pending procurement and scheduling around the summer instructional break.
The Board also received the January 2026 financial statements for the General Fund, Child Nutrition Fund, and Debt Service Fund and an update on new vendors responding to RFPs. On the consent agenda trustees approved interrelated administrative items including minutes, tax collection reports, proposed budget amendments, donations totaling $950.00, adoption of a resolution regarding wage payments for a one-day emergency closing, adoption of revised Board Operating Procedures, approval of Local District Update AE(LOCAL), and acknowledgement of Public Information Act requests. The consent motion passed with all trustees voting Aye.
No specific bond projects or dollar amounts for the bond-interest-funded items were listed in the minutes; the administration indicated procurement would begin and project funding would be reevaluated before summer break.
