Seminole ISD hears public push to add high school soccer; board may place proposal on future agenda

Dr. Glen Teal presented an informational overview about the possibility of introducing soccer in 2026–27 or a later year and outlined pros and cons. He said both athletic directors were present for the discussion and that, if the board wished to advance the program, they could request it be added as an action item on a future agenda — potentially the regular November meeting. No motion or vote was taken at this meeting.
