Heather Jestis, Scurry‑Rosser ISD Assistant Superintendent, reviewed the district Wellness Plan and its goals and action steps during the Dec. 12 SHAC meeting. Jestis said the plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees for approval in February; SHAC will discuss a final copy at its February meeting for any last revisions.
To allow time for that review, SHAC members agreed to move their next meeting from Feb. 27, 2026 to Feb. 6, 2026. The minutes record the rescheduling as an agreed change; no board action is recorded in the minutes beyond the planned February presentation.
