Comal County sets April 10 hearing on proposed stop sign at North Grains Mill Road and Canyon Shores

Staff said a typical requirement is about 200 feet of clear sight distance for the approach speed and recommended giving the public a chance to comment at a formal hearing.
"We need 200 feet of clear space," the engineering office said, describing sight-line constraints caused by skew, trees and nearby houses. Commissioners voted to set a public hearing for April 10, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom so residents can comment on the proposed change.
