Trustee Dana Hancock moved to approve the consent action agenda (items A–L) and Trustee James de Garavilla seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Specific items recorded in the minutes include financial reports and bills, tax reports and refunds, a budget amendment, quarterly investment report, RFPs for instructional materials and maintenance supplies, a Microsoft license renewal purchase order, a Wathen Deshong Junker contract renewal, and a Smurfit Westrock donation. The board also approved the Silsbee ISD Wellness Plan, a list of Innovative Courses, a purchase order to Imagine Learning, and motions to extend hiring authority and alter athletic/substitute pay related to law enforcement as recorded in the minutes.
