The Reagan County ISD Board of Trustees approved two equipment purchases for the district's career and technical education (CTE) building during their Jan. 12 meeting: a building access control system from Guardian Security Solutions and a public-address system from Abacus Computers Inc. Both purchases were approved by recorded motions and carried unanimously.
Gallagher presented a construction update and proposed budget amendments for the CTE/ISS building; trustees discussed the amendment but took no action at this meeting. The minutes record the separate motions: approval of the access control purchase (motion moved by Ruben Martinez, seconded by Freddy Acevedo) and approval of the PA system purchase (motion moved by Freddy Acevedo, seconded by John Hodge).
