At the Nov. 14 meeting the Governing Board approved the SHUSD 2024–25 Site Strategic Action Plans and approved the revised 2024–25 District Safety Plan. Trustee Shawn Moura moved approval of the site strategic action plans (seconded by Jeanmarie Wolf); the safety plan was approved on a motion by Moura, second by Wolf. Both motions carried with unanimous votes.
Trustees also approved the 2024–25 Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Plan (motion by Jeannie Kerr, second by Laura Symon). Separately, Mr. Aracely Romo-Flores presented the 2024 California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) data to the board; the minutes record the board received the presentation but do not list further action tied to the survey at this meeting.
The approved site plans and the ELOP plan set local priorities for teaching and expanded learning; the revised safety plan establishes districtwide safety procedures for the year. The minutes do not include detailed plan text or survey tables; those are appended to the agenda packet or will appear in supporting documents.
