Committee forwards $3,000 parks vehicle-repair transfer after deer collision

"They hit a deer, and they ended up doing it in house rather than taking it to a mechanic, so it saved them some money," the chair said when explaining the request. Committee members raised no substantive concerns and agreed to move the transfer to the Aug. 3 council agenda for formal appropriation.
