At its Jan. 9 meeting the Saint Helena Unified Board of Trustees adopted two facilities-related resolutions to file applications with the State Allocation Board and approved a contract for a water-line repair at Robert Louis Stevenson Middle School.
The board voted to adopt Resolution #24-21 (filing applications for facility hardship/seismic mitigation programs) and Resolution #24-22 (filing for other State Allocation Board-administered programs). Trustees also approved awarding the contract for the RLS Middle School water-line repair project. All motions carried unanimously.
The actions permit district staff to pursue state-administered funding programs and proceed with the immediate repair work at RLS; the meeting record does not list the contract award amount or the contractor's name in the public minutes.
