St. Helena Primary presents site strategic plan as district reviews California Dashboard indicators

St. Helena Primary School Principal Rebekah Rocha presented the school's 2024–25 Site Strategic Plan at the Jan. 9 board meeting, outlining three primary goals and sharing supporting artifacts intended to guide instruction and site priorities.
Director of Educational Services Aracely Romos-Flores then presented the California Dashboard indicators based on last year's data for grades 3–8 and grade 11. Romos-Flores explained the dashboard combines six state measures and five local measures—11 total—and displays each measure with a color that indicates proficiency and growth to help trustees and staff track student outcomes.
Trustee discussion later in the meeting included a request from Trustee Shawn Moura for a deeper review of student data; Superintendent Dr. Jodi McClay suggested holding a workshop in February or March to permit a more detailed review. The presentations are intended to feed into LCAP mid-year monitoring and site-level planning.
