Sommers asked trustees to use menti.com to rank their top five projects and to submit short comments that will be compiled into a report for the board. He recommended the board consider contributing $5 million to future general funds because the current $3 million is not covering costs under the California Construction Cost Index. The board did not take formal action on the recommendation at this session; Sommers and staff will return with timing and cost details.
