Saint Helena Unified board elects new officers for 2025

The Governing Board of the Saint Helena Unified School District completed its annual organizational business on Dec. 16, electing Trustees to the board’s officer posts for 2025.
Trustee Shawn Moura nominated Trustee Laura Symon for Board President; the nomination was seconded by Trustee Jeanmarie Wolf and the board voted to elect Symon. Trustee Jeannie Kerr nominated Trustee Lisa Pelosi for Vice President; Pelosi was elected on a motion by Trustee Laura Symon, seconded by Trustee Shawn Moura. Trustee Jeannie Kerr nominated Trustee Shawn Moura for Board Clerk; Jeanmarie Wolf seconded and the board elected Moura. The transcript records all three officer elections as carrying by roll call with five ayes where noted.
