Board approves new pay rates and authorizes posting for building/grounds maintenance position

The board approved new pay rates for several employee groups — paraprofessionals, administrative assistants, lead administrative assistants and the bus mechanic — as part of routine personnel and compensation updates. The motion was moved by Darryl Antcliff, seconded by Scott Moore and carried unanimously.
Superintendent Bryan McKenna also explained the district will post a Building/Grounds Maintenance position to support increased maintenance needs tied to recent construction and expanded square footage. The administration plans to post the position following the finance committee meeting.
The personnel approvals also included transfers and hires detailed in the consent agenda and workshop packet.
