Students spotlighted at Toms River board meeting as teachers are honored

Gabriela, representing High School North, reviewed spirit-week activities, a student-run fundraiser and multiple state-level athletic accomplishments; she also identified herself as North's board representative.
The reports preceded a district awards portion in which the board and principals recognized teachers and educational services professionals of the year from nearly every school, naming recipients and noting years of service.
