Student representatives from the district's three high schools gave monthly reports that highlighted student achievements, spring events and upcoming fundraisers.
Ryan, the High School East student representative, described the district's character trait for the month as forgiveness and recapped athletic and academic successes including regional and state competitions. Addie Caputo, speaking for High School South, listed recent awards, FBLA and athletic achievements and promoted an upcoming school musical and fundraisers. Gabriela, representing High School North, reviewed spirit-week activities, a student-run fundraiser and multiple state-level athletic accomplishments; she also identified herself as North's board representative.
The reports preceded a district awards portion in which the board and principals recognized teachers and educational services professionals of the year from nearly every school, naming recipients and noting years of service.
