RSD17 welcomed 18 new teachers at August orientation, coordinators report positive feedback

Curriculum Coordinators Jennifer Beermuender and Heather Rigatti reported that 18 new teachers attended New Teacher Orientation on Aug. 20 and 21. Topics included technology, human resources, curriculum and instruction, evaluation and PDEC guidance.
The coordinators said a feedback survey was distributed to participants and that the responses were positive. The orientation is part of the district's broader effort to onboard staff and connect them to district instructional expectations and supports.
