The Sinton ISD Board of Trustees approved a consulting agreement for strategic planning services on Feb. 16, authorizing up to $20,000 from fund balance to pay for the work.
Board Secretary Crystal Saldaña moved to approve the consulting agreement not to exceed $20,000; Trustee Thomas Bowers seconded and the motion passed 7–0. The minutes specify the funding source as fund balance but do not include consultant identity or a scope-of-work in the public text; those procurement documents should be available in the district's contracting records.
The strategic-planning expenditure is intended to support district goal-setting and longer-range plans; staff follow-up will be required to define deliverables and timelines recorded in the district files.
