The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Robert Zavala and seconded by Rosanna Arevalo and was recorded as passed with five yeas and two absences.
The consent agenda also included approval of insurance coverages through the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) covering windstorm, property, automobile and school-liability risks. Board attendance for the vote was recorded as Rosanna Arevalo, Angela Bull, Carol Cannon, Charles Saverline and Robert Zavala present; Lance Hamm and Mario Mendietta were absent. The board did not discuss individual consent items on the public record during that portion of the agenda.
