Residents press county to consider 1355th Avenue building for Board of Elections site

"We have the perfect spot," Cobbin said, and introduced his daughter to provide building details.
Erica Coven Richardson told the board the building at 1355th Avenue is "40,000 square feet, 4 stories," with more than 200 parking spaces and direct access to I‑680 and WRTA bus service, and said the county's stated specifications (roughly 20,000 square feet and about 100 parking spaces) would be met. She said the building's flexible layout could accommodate the board of elections and space for other agencies.
Commissioners thanked the speakers for presenting details; there was no immediate action recorded on site selection during the meeting. The public comments provided specifications county staff and board members can weigh alongside other candidate locations.
