Courthouse Annex landscaping and parking paving set for August; office renovations expected complete by month-end

County Administrator Karen Pitsenbarger reported on July 21 that landscaping work for the Courthouse Annex is underway and that paving of the new parking lot is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 10. She said the County Clerk's office renovations are nearly complete and that the Circuit Clerk's furniture was expected to arrive Aug. 5.
Pitsenbarger told commissioners the projects are expected to be finished by the end of August. The work includes interior renovations, furnishings and exterior site work; commissioners did not approve additional funds at the meeting and received the construction schedule as an informational update.
