Members discussed scheduling additional August meetings specifically to continue the home-occupation ordinance review, and several councilors asked staff to secure the building-department reviewer, Brian Florence, for an August meeting so he can explain his administrative review process and the vehicle/permit thresholds he currently applies.
Chair Lutke asked staff to follow up with Florence and to check room availability for a suggested August 13 meeting; the committee left the calendar tentative but agreed additional sessions would help finalize definitions and the proposed checklist.
