After returning from closed session, the San Felipe‑Del Rio CISD Board on July 27 approved a range of personnel actions and administrative reorganizations presented in closed session. Administration recommended and the board approved new hires including Amy Castillo for a high‑school counselor position, Gina Horado as an educational diagnostician, Cynthia Ramon as an art facilitator, Kyla Conferas as a speech‑language pathologist, and Brenda Flores Leon as federal and state grants program coordinator.
Administration also presented a district administration reorganization and recommended salary adjustments discussed in closed session; the board approved both. On real property, administration recommended soliciting a property swap for future educational use, and trustees voted unanimously to proceed with the solicitation.
Amy Childress presented the personnel recommendations and confirmed the board would receive addenda and updates as staffing assignments are finalized. The board voted to approve the personnel report, salary adjustments, the reorganization and the property‑swap solicitation; all votes were unanimous.
