Chief Faz reviewed statutory requirements for the district safety committee and listed committee membership, noting the new legal requirement to include a special education administrator as a superintendent designee; the board approved the reappointment and authorized the superintendent to ensure required membership.
Administration said assignments will be clarified after staff counts are confirmed and that initial training and shadowing will be provided by the police chief.
