Council approved three emergency‑management appointments June 1: Garrett Bahr was appointed Emergency Management Coordinator intern and Joseph Hopple and Nathan Durham were appointed deputy emergency management coordinators. The appointments were moved by Donald Konkle and seconded by Donald Boyles; the motions carried.
Borough Manager Donna M. Taggart provided the appointments for council consideration. Council did not attach additional conditions to the appointments and directed staff to integrate the appointees into emergency planning activities.
