The Taos County Commission approved three state grant agreements to fund reclamation work on Espinosa Road. Staff said the three grants are different programs that together support the same project and total roughly $440,480 ($146,717 + $184,575 + $109,188 reported in the record).
Deborah (staff presenter) described the planned work and construction approach: "they're going to pulverize the asphalt and use that as their base, and then we're gonna put 3 inches of asphalt." Commissioners asked about timing and were told the work is expected in spring–summer of next year. Each resolution was moved, seconded and approved by roll-call vote.
County manager staff later noted corresponding budget adjustments were placed on the consent agenda so the project budget items align with the grant awards.
