Lake-management contractor reports minor algae and aeration fixes, schedules equipment installs

Dustin Hormann of Premier Lakes told the Board that crews identified "minimal red algae in the lakes, which will be treated tomorrow," and that dry retention areas have recently been treated. He said aeration issues were corrected except for two units that require electrical work, which is scheduled for the following week. Hormann also reported that a "Zombie box" is on back order and will be installed at the Masters in roughly three weeks.
PSGRC General Manager Eric Long said he had emailed District Engineer Charlie Krebs about inspecting littoral plantings behind 20859 Glen Eagles Lakes Drive; Krebs will obtain cost estimates to replant cord grass and arrowhead. The Board received the update for informational purposes; no contract changes or expenditures were approved during the meeting.
