Motions to elect leadership passed unanimously: "Motion by Gravley, second by Anderson, unanimous vote to elect Commissioner Stevens as Board Chair for 2025," followed by the election of Tom Appel as Vice-Chair (motion by Anderson, second by Maras).
The board also approved the 2025 meeting schedule—meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 9:00 a.m., with the exceptions of June 17 (Board of Equalization) and Dec. 2 (budget discussion meeting to be held in the afternoon)—and confirmed commissioner assignments for 2025. The leadership votes and schedule set the board's operating structure for the year and provide staff direction for calendar and committee planning.
