Operations Manager Shane Willis presented AV‑Tech LLC Estimates 24150 and 24151. PSGRC General Manager Eric Long recommended adding a mobile unit and reported that one existing unit recorded about 800 varied speeding violations over a three‑week period, a statistic used to justify expanding the system. The approved package includes an ongoing cloud fee of $1,500 per device per year to support data and messaging.
The motion to approve the combined AV‑Tech package was made by Mr. Schultz, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, and passed with all in favor. Staff said poles needed for relocating existing units would be purchased from Paramount Asphalt at roughly $1,200 each.
