Director of secondary curriculum (Speaker 9) described a proposed AP Biology pilot using a Bedford, Freeman & Worth textbook and digital platform at each high school next year. The district secured 25 hard-copy texts per building and digital access for students; training with the publisher will start in June and the pilot will run from September through May. "They're letting us pilot the text at each building for free next year, and then we'll be able to make a decision after that," Speaker 9 said, noting online labs, data-analysis practice and a sample exam included with the new materials.
