Secretary LaVelle, the Board’s secretary, reported the Board’s progress on collecting 2025 Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure forms, saying the Board expects 420 filings in 2026 and that 147 forms have been submitted so far. Of those 147 submissions, 44 have been reviewed and approved, 22 are under review, 81 are waiting for review, and 47 have been returned to filers for corrections.
The update prompted discussion of recurring problems with how some filers — including Board members — identify organizational contracts. Chair Paul K. Johnson said he would like the County Attorney to attend the next meeting to help the Board consider revisions to the current disclosure form; the Board agreed and Secretary LaVelle will send the invitation. The Board set the next meeting for April 23, 2026, at 3:15 p.m.
