Chief Water Operator Kyle Wirts told the board he completed three locates and one disconnect on Oct. 22 and that routine testing would continue, saying, "Chief Water Operator Kyle Wirts completed three locates and a disconnect on 10/22. Will put a lock on it. Radio nuceli cleared. BAC-T will be completed tomorrow."
Village Clerk reported administrative problems that delayed bill distribution. "Water bills were sent out on the 16th. They were late due to the setup of a new tablet and merging it with the water software," the clerk said, and added that seven past-due notices will be mailed with shutoffs scheduled for Nov. 4. The clerk also said one account has already been shut off and remains disconnected.
The board did not take formal action on rates or shutoff policy at the meeting but instructed staff to proceed with notifications. The clerk said next month’s water bill will include a notice informing customers who use the COURTMONEY payment site that the site is being shut down.
