Developer proposes shrinking Forest Glen Phase I to nine homes, board directs zoning review

Ben Valletta presented an update on the Forest Glen property and sought direction after the Phase I annexation agreement expired. "He has an idea to take the twenty-five (25) single family homes down to nine (9)," Valletta said, adding he would like to include a park and walking path connection. He asked how to proceed with a new development agreement and said he will prepare a Special Use application for the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Trustees reiterated concerns from prior proposals, chiefly opposition to multi‑family units that would share a well and to through‑traffic during construction. Trustee Vick and President Shepit said construction traffic should be routed via Ringwood Road, and the board instructed the Zoning Board to contact Valletta to begin the formal review and application process. Deputy Clerk Prehn confirmed a Special Use application had been requested previously but that a meeting did not occur.
