The Board approved several licensing and registration matters at the Oct. 15–16 meeting. Members approved the change of ownership for National Health Rx in Las Vegas with the condition that the new owner submit to monthly inspections for six months at the owner's expense. Representatives for National Health Rx appeared and answered Board questions.
The Board approved Vidrine Pharmaceutical Group's out-of-state compounding pharmacy application pending submittal of a completed designated representative application. The Board also approved individual registrations: Romeo Valdez Jr.'s pharmaceutical technician registration and controlled-substance registrations for applicants including Peter Grimes (approved for Schedules II–V pending one hour of PMP training with Board staff) and Jay Selznick (approved for Schedules II–V).
Board discussion and motions reflected standard review of qualifications and, when appropriate, conditional approvals tied to training or documentation.
