NJDEP outlines traffic coordination plan and how residents can get construction advisories

"Priority lane shifts and or lane closures are determined in close coordination with Hoboken Police Department, Jersey City Police Department, New Jersey Transit, and Hudson Bergen Light Rail Watchmen," the agency official said, adding that these agencies will assist with traffic flow and pedestrian guidance and that no parking will be permitted within work areas.
On outreach, the presenter highlighted a project website and weekly Friday construction advisories and urged residents and businesses to sign up. "Also, if you have any further questions or concerns, you can leave a message or write an email to our community construction liaison. The CCL checks these messages daily and will ensure your questions and concerns reach the appropriate person or team," the agency official said.
NJDEP framed these measures as the primary ways nearby stakeholders can get timely information about lane changes, business access and schedule updates.
