NJDEP says contractor will track noise, dust and vibration and act if levels exceed limits

"The construction work will be performed within the permissible noise and vibration limits," the agency official said, adding that monitoring will be continuous and that the contractor must advise the construction manager immediately if levels exceed acceptable limits so that appropriate action can be taken.
NJDEP said it continues to coordinate with the Resist construction contractor to ensure compliance with dust-control requirements that meet state regulations in the contract. The presentation framed these measures as standard mitigation steps intended to limit disturbance to nearby residents and businesses during active construction.
Stakeholders were advised that monitoring and corrective actions are part of the contractor's responsibilities under the project contract.
