County approves final payments for two bridge projects totaling $125,456.58

Public Works Director Nick Klisch informed the board that Project 017-599-111 (bridge L6579 on 570th Avenue, Midway Township) is complete and requested final payment. The board approved final payment of $30,011.34 to Midwest Contracting on a motion by Commissioner Tom Appel, second by Commissioner Larry Anderson; the vote was unanimous.
Klisch also reported completion of Project 017-605-023 (replacement of Bridge 89513 on CSAH 5 north of CSAH 15), noting the project used State Bridge Bonds for funding. Motion by Commissioner Donna Gravley, second by Commissioner Kevin Stevens approved final payment of $95,445.24 to Midwest Contracting, LLC; unanimous approval was recorded.
The minutes show the projects are complete and payments approved; contract closeout documents and the final resolution/payments are on file in the County Coordinator’s office.
