More than 900 personnel, air support and dozers deployed as crews create fire lines, official says

Kearns also described mutual-aid support from more than a dozen states, citing assistance from as far away as Florida and Alaska. He framed the effort as a large, coordinated interagency response while containment percentages remained officially at 0%.
