The Whitebead Board of Education voted to convene an executive session under 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1) to discuss employment of certified staff and employment of classroom teachers on temporary contract for the 2025–26 school year.
The motion to enter executive session was made by Sandy Arroyo, seconded by Belinda Hunt, and passed unanimously. The board entered executive session at 5:55 p.m. and returned to open session at 6:25 p.m. The minutes state that no other matters were discussed and no votes were taken during executive session. Present during executive session were board members Alex Young, Belinda Hunt and Sandy Arroyo, and Superintendent Jason Midkiff.
Following the executive session the board read an executive session minutes compliance announcement confirming the board's return to open session and that the conversation had been confined to the listed personnel matters.
