Board acknowledges alliance signatures to pursue USDA utility funding for District 5 project

She said the board had previously agreed to sponsor the project and that USDA funding could be a loan, a grant, or a combination, subject to eligibility and available funds.
Board members voted to acknowledge receipt of the signatures and directed staff to include a supportive letter from the school district superintendent in the application record. The board approved the acknowledgment by voice vote.
