County staff reported Amazon Data Services requested a utility permit to place private utilities under the public right-of-way and that the company asked for an indemnification agreement in lieu of a bond. Staff said the county and company worked with county counsel on an indemnification and restoration agreement; the board approved that agreement by motion.
Staff also presented a second item asking permission for Amazon to place reclaimed water, fiber and a medium-voltage duct bank in the right-of-way and said the company had agreed to provide a locator for calls to 811. The board approved that permit by motion and voice vote.
