Superintendent Dwayne Danker reported to the board that the district will issue a parent letter this month about the cell phone ban and the state free-meal (child nutrition) mandate. Danker also said the old gym roof project has been completed and that staff are obtaining quotes for an elementary awning and new door installations.
Danker told the board staff are also proposing to change remaining 2025 board meetings to begin at 5:30 p.m., starting in September in the MS/HS cafeteria. The superintendent's report included no formal vote but provided operational updates the board recorded in the minutes.
