Principals report enrollments and fall activities; music program and conferences scheduled

Elementary Principal Jeff Thompson reported elementary enrollment of 130 and thanked parents for volunteer support of fundraisers, saying he wanted to "thank the parents for their efforts." He listed ongoing fundraisers (Fire Pit and cookie‑dough) and called Grandparents Day a success. Thompson announced the Music Program and Community Feed for Wednesday, Sept. 18 (feed at 5:30 p.m.; program at 6:30 p.m., to be held at Sharon) and said school and sports pictures will be taken Sept. 17. Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Sept. 26 (4–7 p.m.) and Sept. 27 (8 a.m.–noon); there will be no school on Sept. 27. The transcript lists Students of the Month for August by grade.
High School Principal B. Shryock reported high school enrollment of 87 and summarized recent activity at the local fair and livestock show. He noted strong volleyball seasons for JH and HS teams (HS girls ranked 15th), reported donated parts and labor to install an AC unit in the weight room, and outlined upcoming contests including a home volleyball game Friday and the first varsity football game Sept. 19 at Corn Bible Academy. "In spite of all the activities, we are having school every day, and the teachers are doing a fantastic job making that happen," Shryock said.
