Elementary principal reports enrollment of 124, holiday activities and student recognitions

Jeff Thompson, superintendent and elementary principal, told the board the elementary school had an enrollment of 124 students and that the Thanksgiving dinner served 503 people. Thompson described a full December calendar — a Christmas program, a Christmas Store, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics presentation for 5th/6th grades, and Movie Day at Mitchell Theater on Dec. 19.
Thompson also recognized students of the month (PreK–6th) and named Lisa Bellows as employee of the month. On Homecoming week he said it was "the most Christmas Spirit he's seen since he's been here," and he noted that teacher Amazon pages remain available year-round.
