Sapulpa Board approves consent agenda including multiple donations and vendor renewals

The Sapulpa Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda on Aug. 14, approving purchase order encumbrances across the general, building, child nutrition, Fund 4 and bond funds, monthly financial reports, course lists and several vendor contracts and renewals.
Items on the consent agenda included approval of the 7.17.2024 regular meeting minutes; the 2024–25 instructional calendar to be based on 1,080 hours; selection of the ACT for the district’s College and Career Readiness Assessment; renewal of vendor agreements (including ERate management services and SchoolSpace subscription), and approval of athletics and tournament contracts. The board also accepted donations: $3,000 from Tulsa Bone and Joint, $6,000 from TTCU, and $500 gifts from OASO and Rebecca LaFevers State Farm Agency. The motion to approve Consent Agenda items A–AC passed on a motion by Steve McCormick and a second by Larry Hoover; recorded votes were Sarah Havenstrite Yea, Larry Hoover Yea, Steve McCormick Yea, Melinda Ryan Yea (Wayne Richards absent).
