The board approved a slate of 2025–26 administrative appointments covering activity fund custodian, encumbrance and minutes clerks, purchasing agent signers, Title VI/IX coordinators, and treasurer assignments. The motion to approve the appointments passed by recorded vote.
Separately, trustees adopted the FY26 Memorandum of Understanding with the Newcastle Association of Classroom Teachers and approved a contract consent agenda that included Convergint Technologies support for Metrasens detection systems (a one‑year customer support program with a total project price recorded in the proposal as $8,364.00), therapy contracts, waste service, fire inspection and monitoring proposals, pest control, and an interlocal purchasing agreement through TOPS Atoka. The meeting also recorded approval of financial consent items and encumbrances across general, building, bond and technology funds.
