Superintendent Jeremy Klein reported substantial completion of the Area A office renovation and said the fire marshal has granted occupancy for both school and daycare, though punch‑list items remain. He told trustees that internet connections and door‑access integration are still being finalized and that staff expect to build an initial door schedule ahead of the Aug. 14 first day of classes.
The board reviewed detailed project accounting and a contractor pay application. The construction ledger in the board packet shows $11,035,056.86 expensed to date and an adjusted gross amount of $10,939,271.93; the current pay application certified for payment was $480,500.87. Trustees asked administration to press the contractor on remaining finish‑work and to report back at the Aug. 25 finance committee meeting on any outstanding schedule or budget risks.
