Commission says landowner will replant trees on Bell Rock Road; matter tabled

Commission staff reported that vegetation growth on Bell Rock Road is a byproduct of recent heavy rains but that the landowner has acknowledged the need to replant. "I did speak to the owner. He knows that those trees need to be replanted, and we will do that in, late summer, early fall," staff said. A motion to table further action was moved and passed.
The commission did not set further enforcement actions at the meeting, instead leaving the matter to staff follow-up and a future agenda when replanting progress can be confirmed.
